Conjoining Lots on Pine Mountain – Feb 2018

Conjoining lots have been a major issue that’s been discussed since our Interim Board took office last July.  Unlike most issues – this is the one that receives the most positive responses from fellow members.  Their only question is – How soon can this happen?

During the Board’s December meeting – members who have conjoined lots through the County will be recognized by the POA.  The next issue to solve – how will this affect quarterly dues.

As with most things new – we have to start somewhere – see how it works – then make changes where needed.  Therefore the Board will be using the following formula on the remainder of the 2017-2018 fiscal year, effective April 1st.

Conjoining Lot Acreage Formula:

  • Up to 2.5 acres = will be considered a lot – and will be charged accordingly
  • Every additional 1/2 acre (.5-acre) will be an additional $25 per quarter.
  • Every additional acre (1-acre) will be an additional $50.

Letters should be going out soon notifying all members – that have been identified by the POA to date – they need to bring in their legal documents from the county showing proof of their conjoined lots.  The new price change for their dues will start April 1, 2018.

If you have any questions, please contact the POA office.

Thank you,
